Route 381 (Quebec)

Québécois Provincial roads, the 381 , follows a North-South orientation on northern bank of the Fleuve the St. Lawrence. It serves the area of the Saguenay-Lake-Saint-Jean and Charlevoix. It begins with Saguenay (the Bay) with the foot from the coast with Jovi and follows during its course river ha! Ha! and several kilometers the limit is National park of the Large-Gardens before leading in the valley of the Pit to Bay-Saint-Paul. On its way, it crosses the municipalities of Ferland-and-Boilleau and Saint-Urbain.

With the junction of the two tourist areas of the Saguenay-Lake-Saint-Jean and Charlevoix there, one finds a splendid view-point overhanging Big lake ha! Ha!

It should be noted that part of the road was carried in the sector of Ferland-and-Boilleau during the floods of 1996 which prevailed mainly in Saguenay. Certain residents thus found themselves isolated and were evacuated by helicopter.
