Route 309 (Quebec)
Québécois Provincial roads, the 309 is located in the Québécois North-West and follows a NORTH-SOUTH orientation. It serves the area of the Outaouais and the Laurentides. It begins on the highway 50, following the construction of a new segment of this highway. Previously, road 309 took source of the road 148, when the 148 forked towards the west in direction of Hull. This section passes through the town of Buckingham and then is run away in the small mountains. This portion of the road forms now part of the road 315. It progresses towards the north of Outaouais and the Highones, along the river of hare. It constitutes also an access road to the Faunal Reserve of Papineau-Labelle. Several roads out of gravel is attached to it, driving worms of the country cottages or the permanent residences. Road 309 itself was out of gravel until the end of the Seventies, beginning of the year 80, of Valley-of-Wood to Mount-Bay-tree. It crosses very few Villages, and very few of other provincial roads. It crosses the road 315 with Buckhingham, the road 307 with Valley-of-Wood, the road 311 with Our-Lady-with-Pontmain, the road 117 with Mount-Bay-tree and the road 311 again with Mount-Saint-Michel, before finishing its race with Holy-Anne-of-Lake, 7 kilometers further.
