Québécois Provincial roads, the 243 serves the area of the Estrie and the Center-of-Quebec. It begins at the American border with Potton like continuity from the road 243 from the state from the Vermont. It finishes with 107 kilometers in north east with Saint-Felix-with-Kingsey on the road 255. At the beginning of its course, it located at the west of the Lake Memphrémagog before going to skirt bank is Lac Brominates. Then, it crosses Waterloo, Valcourt and Richmond.
