Rousskaïa Pravda
The Rousskaïa Pravda , or Russian Law (or Russian Truth), is a whole of three documents which one knows by copies dated from.
The version short is reproduced in the First chronicle of Novgorod , in manuscripts of the 15th century. It comprises 43 articles, gathered in three unequal parts: the Law of Iaroslav (first half of the 11th century), the Law of wire of Yaroslav and the code of the fines and royalties.
The version long is inserted in a collection of laws of second half of the 13th century.
The version shortened we arrived in copies of the 17th century.
The unit was published for the first time in second half of the 18th century. The text, often difficult to establish, authorizes sometimes divergent interpretations.
