The Roussillon is a province of France of Old Mode.

Geography

The plain of Roussillon is irrigated by three Fleuve S, from the south towards north, the Tech (El tce), the Têt (river) (the Small fireclay cup) and the Agly (Aglí). Overhung by famous the Mount Canigou ( El Canigó ), its main resources are agriculture (Vin, Primeur S and Fruit S) and the Tourisme (in particular with Argelès-sur-Mer (Argelers) on the sandy coast, and Collioure (Cotlliure), Port-Vendres and Banyuls-sur-Mer (Banyuls of Marenda) on the Vermilion Côte (Marenda) .

History

This part of the Catalogne was attached to the crown of France at the time of the Traité of the Pyrenees signed the November 7th 1659.
