Rounders

The Rounders is a Sport collective British. This discipline is practiced in England since the XVIe century, in the English colonies of America since the XVIIe century and in Ireland since more recently. The rounders is one of the sports at the origin of the Baseball.
First written mention of the rounders date of 1744. It is about a short illustrated text of an engraving representing the play in a book for children of J. Newberry. The rules of the game are published for the first time in 1828.
British National Rounders Association was created in 1943. In Ireland, it is the Gaelic Athletic Association which manages the play.
