Rouillon (river)
Rouillon is a small brook of the the Essonne, affluent of the Yvette, itself flow of the Orge, which runs in Paris region.
It takes its source on the plate of Villejust and joined the Yvette with Longjumeau after having received the white Ruisseau
Broad up to 2 meters per place, this river of 9,5 km, was in the past arranged for the trout breeding.
In August 2005, a series of measurements of the water quality of the Yvette and of its affluents classified the water of the Rouillon of bad quality because of the bacteriological analysis and the nitrite rate.
Inheritance
It should be noted that, in the hamlet of Balizy with Longjumeau, this brook is spanned by " The Bridge of Templiers". It is about the oldest bridge of the Ile de France (XIIIe century), classified Historic building in 1930.
