Rotting Christ is a group of founded metal Greek to Athens in 1987. At its beginnings, the group evolved/moved in a register Black primitive metal, influenced by Bathory, Venom and Celtic Frost. Its music became more melody and atmospheric with the passing of years by integrating elements close to the Gothic metal. Paradoxically, its first albums seem more to have marked the fans. Rotting Christ is with Septic Flesh the headlight group of the Greek scene metal.
