Rote Wand

The Rote Wand (literally Red Wall ) is a top of the the Alps, to 2704 m, in the Massif of Lechquellen, in Austria (Vorarlberg).

The name of the top comes from the color of the Calcaire of the Lias which composes it, particularly visible on the southern slope. Below this same slope bathes the Lake Formarin, while on the northern slope a small glacier is.
