Rostislav Ier Large prince de Kiev in 1154 then 1157 with 1168
Wire of Mstislav Ier Harald and of Christine of Sweden.
Born about 1105 probably in Kiev. Prince de Smolensk in 1142. It succeeds his brother Iziaslav II as associated with the throne by Viatcheslav Ier which dies in the end of the year. It must then yield the throne to Iziaslav III.
At the end of 1155 Iouri Dolgorouki drives out of Kiev Iziaslav III and takes its place. In 1157, after the death of Iouri Dolgorouki, Rostilav Ier Grand prince becomes again after having eliminated Iziaslav III. He dies on March 14th, 1168. He is the father of:
