Rosette
A rosette is a symmetrical figure, formed of Courbe S registered in a Cercle starting from a point or central button, having more or less the form of a pink or a star stylized, and used like reason for decoration.
In the fields of the Architecture and Decoration, a rosette can be:

a Ornament, or a Moulure affecting this form, used mainly structures about it to decorate the boxes with Plafond, the Voûte S, and in Menuiserie to decorate a Meuble.

large a Stained glass, or a whole of stained glasses of circular form decorating a church, a pink of architecture. ( See also: Religious architecture )

a metal disc decorated, used to dissimulate the head of an apparent nail supporting a framework, a mirror, etc
