Rosenwiller (Dettwiller)

Rosenwiller is a village attached to Dettwiller in the the Low-Rhine. With not confusing with the commune of Rosenwiller close to Rosheim.
History

1618/1648 : War Thirty Year old which sowed misery in all the Alsace
- 1652: Reinhold de Rosen buys at the town of Strasbourg the seigniory of Herrenstein with Dossenheim and Dettwiller, the villages are ruined and almost depopulated.
- 1653: Revolt country in the Swiss cantons calvinists, oppressed emigrate.
- About 1655: Arrival of Swiss immigrants with Dettwiller. Reinhold de Rosen authorizes them to celebrate their worship in the “Gemeindestube”; the prédicants come from Wolfisheim and Lixheim.
- 1663: Reinhold de Rosen authorizes construction with Dettwiller of a temple calvinist with presbytery and school, the project is not carried out.
- 1664: Foundation of Rosenwiller: 7 farms and 4 houses of servants.
- 1670: Construction of the temple calvinist in Rosenwiller (completed in 1672).
- 1685: Rosenwiller becomes independent reformed parish. Rosenwiller served by the deacon of Wolfisheim.
- 1718: Reinhold Charles de Rosen grants the buildings and the grounds in long lease.
- 1724-1847: Conflict enters the inhabitants of Rosenwiller and those of Dettwiller.
- 1796: Restitution of the possessions of Rosen with Sophie-Rose Broglie (downward last of the Rosen family) after suppression of her feudal rights due the French revolution.
- 1798: Sophie-Rose Broglie sells her possessions at an Alsatian company.
- 1805: The long goods of Rosenwiller returned to Joseph Reibel.
- 1819: Rosenwiller attached to the reformed parish of Cosswiller.
- 1837: First petition asking the separation of the commune-mother; she was rejected
- 1842: Construction of a Catholic church with Rosenwiller (fine of work in 1846).
- 1847: Second asking the separation of the commune-mother; she was still rejected
- 1868: Valerie-Joséphine born Reibel sold the long goods of Rosenwiller to Jules Kunlin.
- 1905: Sale of the unused reformed temple of Rosenwiller. The worship is celebrated once per annum in the church of Dettwiller.
- 1906: The beams were transformed into perpetual mortgages in favor of the Kunlin widow.
- 1919: Sale of the rights to the revenue with the hereditary lessees by the Kunlin heir.
- 1920-1926: The hereditary lessees become sole owner of their goods.
- 1922: Last reformed worship with Dettwiller.
