Rosenheim

Rosenheim is a German city, between Munich and Salzburg (Salzburg), in High-Bavaria. It is located on the river In.

The city is a node of circulation in the triangle Munich (Germany), Vienna (Austria) and Italy, for the railway network as much as for that of the highway.

Surrounded of more than one dozen of lakes and near the mountains of the the Alps of north, Rosenheim is a city very attracting for the amateurs of the excursion, the cliff, the parapente, the VTT and the skiers.

Thanks to the Fachhochschule (technical university) with its die on the work of wood, Rosenheim attracts students of all Germany.

There exists in Rosenheim a long tradition of Hockey. The local association of sport, the Sportbund Rosenheim , was German champion in 1982, 1985 and 1989, but the team was then readjusted in the 2nd division for financial reasons. After the immediate increase in 1e division, the team was renamed Starbulls .
