Roseland (Chicago)
Roseland is a district Afro-américain of the town of Chicago (Illinois,). Formerly place of Dutch Immigration , it became a black Ghetto at the 20th century. Its population is of approximately: 135000 inhabitants. Several actions undertaken by the local Association S like Developing Communities Project and by the municipality of Chicago improved the living conditions and housing, starting from the Années 1980. Criminality is always present, in particular on the 100e called Rue “ Murder Row ”.
