Rose tree polyantha
The rose trees polyanthas are a class of Rosier S Hybride S created as from 1875, resulting from crossings carried out by the Rosiériste Jean-Baptiste Guillot between Rosa will multiflora and Rosa chinensis .
History
By seeds of Rosa will multiflora (or of Rosa will multiflora dwarf) fertilized by Rosa chinensis “Minimum”, the Rosiériste Lyon are born Jean-Baptiste Guillot creates, in 1875, the first polyantha, “Daisy” with white flowers. Then in 1880 it creates “Mignonnette” with pink flowers and in 1887 “Glory of Polyanthas”The Rosier S polyanthas will have a very great descent and form one of the categories of the classification developped at the point in 1971 by the world Fédération of the companies of pinks ( World Federation off Pink Societies )
Description
The rose trees polyanthas are small rose trees bushes (60 to 80 cm in height) with small going up, double or semi-double flowers grouped in bouquets. They are sensitive to the Maladie of the black spots.- the first polyanthas:
- “Daisy”, with white flowers, all small bush with the bouquets from 20 to 30 all small (1 cm) white flowers,
