Places and monuments

Rosans preserved its feudal character with its streets and its dead ends at arches. The CASTLE OF LESDIGUIERES is only one vast masonry without interest. TOWER SARRASINE, in the center of the country still draws the attention in spite of the mutilations which lowered it considerably and deteriorated. Built with blocks of stone cut out of diamond, its walls have four meters of apaissor and each face looks at one of the four cardinal points so that when three on its sides are in the shade, it marks the hour of midday. This tower, called wrongly " Sarrazine" turn; is not a specimen of Moorish architecture in the South of France.
