Rosalind Elsie Franklin (July 25th 1920 - April 16th 1958) is a molecular biologist British which took part in discovered of DNA.

Biography

After obtaining a doctorate in physical chemistry with Cambridge with the the United Kingdom in 1945.

Of 1947 with 1950 it works in France with the central Laboratoire of the chemical services of the State , where it learned the techniques from diffraction of the X-rays.

Of return to the the United Kingdom in 1951, it has a station with the King' S College where it applies the diffraction of x-rays to biological materials. It carries out several radiographies with the x-rays of the DNA, which will be shown without its knowledge by Maurice Wilkins with James Watson
