Rosaceae

Herbaceous or woody plants, with alternate sheets, simple or composed, stipulated. Regular flowers, almost always perfect and 5-mothers. Cheesecloths of very variable number, around 20. Chalice, corolla and androcée concrescent at the base in a plate or a tube. Pistil made up of carpelles closed, of very variable number. Very diverse fruits: generally whole of follicules, baited or of drupes.

The family of the Rosacées account more than 2.000 species divided into more than one kind hundred.

This cosmopolitan family as well includes/understands herbaceous plants long-lived as of the Arbuste S or Arbre S. the flowers generally count five sepals, five petals, of many cheesecloths (> 10) and a variable number the carpelles ones. The position of the ovary (supère or infère) varies according to the species, but the floral Réceptacle is always dug in hypanthe (or hypanthium).
