Rosa xanthina
Rosa xanthina is a species of Rosier, classified in the section of the '' Pimpinellifoliæ '', originating in the north of the China and Korea. The first rose tree of this species, which was introduced in Europe in 1906 under the name of Rosa slingeri , was a cultivated rose tree found in a garden.

Description
- Rosa xanthina F. spontanea , “Canary Bird” the wild type which exists in north of the China and in Mongolia, a 3 meters high bush, with the stems provided with flat and right pivots. The foliage, very light, consists of sheets with 5 to 13 small oval leaflets. The flowers simple, yellow, rather large (5 to 6 cm) give round and red fruits.
- Rosa xanthina , species which does not exist in nature, is distinguished, in May and June, by its semi-double or double flowers (to 20 petals), yellow of gold, 4 to 5 cm in diameter
