Rosa sericea
The silky rose tree ( Rosa sericea ) is a species of Rosier of the section of the '' Pimpinellifoliæ '', originating in the south-west of the China (Guizhou, Sichuan, Xizang, Yunnan), Bhutan, north of the India (Sikkim) and Myanmar. It pushes in mountain at altitudes ranging between 2000 and 4400 meters.
Description
It is a Arbrisseau which can reach two meters in height, often very thorny. the Sheet S, null and void, have from 4 to 8 cm length, and are composed of 7 to 11 Foliole S at the tight edge. The Fleur S, from 2,5 to 5 cm in diameter, white and, are made exceptional at the rose trees, have only four petals. The fruits, from 8 to 15 mm in diameter, are red with maturity and carry the four persistent sepals.
Taxonomy
There exist four botanical forms of this species:- Rosa sericea F. sericea .
- Rosa sericea F. glandulosa T.T.Yü & T.C.Ku
- Rosa sericea F. glabrescens Franchet.
- Rosa sericea F. pteracantha Franchet.
The close species Rosa omeiensis is sometimes treated like a Sous-espèce of Rosa sericea .
