The rose tree of Nootka ( Rosa nutkana ) is a species of Rosier classified in the section of the '' Cinnamomeae '', originating in the area of the Peaceful North-West in North America (with horse on the United States and Canada). It holds its name of the tribe Amerindian of the Nootkas.

Description

It belongs to the section of the Cinnamomeæ (like Rosa rugosa )

It is a not very dense bush with the notched sheets dark green with 5 to 9 leaflets.

The flowers simple, pink, rather large, appear in June and are followed large round and red fruits.
