Rosa micrantha

Rosa micrantha is a species of Rosier, pertaining to the section of the '' Caninæ '', originating in Europe Western and central until the Ukraine.

Synonymous: Rosa floribunda Steven ex Besser.

Description

It is a Arbrisseau forming a three height meters bush and broad, whose stems provided with many bent pivots, arch towards the ground. The Sheet S imparipennées, count from 5 to 7 leaflets on board with double serration. The Flowers, from 1 to 4 cm in diameter, white to pale pink, isolated or grouped by 4, hatched in June, give Fruit S, ovoid Cynorrhodon S of color bright red which lose their sepals quickly.

Culture and use

It was introduced in France about 1800 and some places, naturalized in North America.
