Rosa ecae
Rosa ecæ is a species of Rosier originating in Afghanistan and Turkestan where it was found in 1880 by the Dr. Aitchison which named it according to initial name of his wife, E.C.A.
Description
It is a high bush of approximately 1,50 m and its brown stems, very urged on, carry sheets dark green which have 5 to 9 leaflets at the toothed edges.At the end of May, it gives Fleur S of a very sharp yellow which are transformed into red and brilliant round small fruits.
Cultivated in fertile ground, this rose tree fear of reaching 2 meters.

- “Helen Knight”, created in 1966 ( Rosa ecae X Rosa pimpinellifolia altaica ) with large simple flowers yellow
