Rosa carolina

Rosa carolina is a species of Rosier of the section of the Carolinæ , often confused with Rosa virginiana and Rosa pallustris , originating in North America.

Synonymous: Rosa virginiana VAr. humilis

Description

Rosa carolina is a high bush of approximately 1,50 m, very suckering, and its stems are often smooth with sheets with 5 leaflets at the edges with acute teeth.

Its flowers, of pink color and generally isolated, appear in July.
