Rop Gonggrijp (born on February 14th, 1968 with Amsterdam) is a Hacker Dutch and one of the founders of the Fournisseur of access Internet XS4ALL.
Teenager, it known like hacker and had appeared as one of the principal characters of the book of Jan Jacobs: " Kraken in Computers" (" Hacking and ordinateurs"), Veen uitgevers 1985, ISBN 90-204-2651-6) which describes the scene of the first hackers in the Netherlands. It was convinced that Internet would change the company radically.
In 1993, people related to Hack-Tic crééerent XS4ALL. It was about the first FAI which offered the access to Internet to the private individuals to the Netherlands. Gonggrijp left the company in 1997. After having left XS4ALL, Gonggrijp created ITSX, a company of evaluation of the computer security, which was repurchased by Madison Gurkha in 2006. In 2001, Gonggrijp started to work on Cryptophone, a Mobile phone which can quantify the conversations.
Since 1989, Gonggrijp was one of the principal organizers of Hack-Tic hacker vents. In the beginning organized by Hack-Tic, these events continue to exist until today.
Through the years, it showed in a repeated way its interest concerning inflation of quantity of information personal to which the companies and government agencies have access.
