Rooms of theater of Angers

General presentation

Several prestigious rooms of theater of Angers drain many people towards them. The Theater Chanzy

The theater of Chanzy is a theater of the agglomeration angevine.

It is located near the Lafayette place, not far from the Saint-Laud station.

General presentation

The Chanzy theater offers, at each season, very varied programming, various representations and of great interest as well as concerts of quality with ONPL, the CNDL and the NTA.

the Theater of the Battle field

Presentation

The Théâtre of the battle field is located at Angers.

It is managed by association “Word D.E.L.I.E.E” (To say, Ecrire, Lire, Interpréter, Ecouter, Editer). This association was created in 1993 to promote the reading and the live performance.

It is a theater of low-size district: nearly a hundred sitted places. He proposes varied programming (French songs, tales, dances, evenings readings, puppets, mimes, musics…). He forms integral part of the cultural landscape angevin:

Programming

The theater of the Battle field contributes by its artistic activities to the theatrical radiation near many people. The theater accommodates each season about fifteen professional companies, Pays of the Loire, Brittany and even from abroad. This theater is also used as place of excellence and room of springboard for the young theatrical companies. The majority of the spectacles are the creations presented for the first time before a regional round then national.

The " Theater of Comédie" is located at Angers with 1 rue Cordelle.
