Synopsis

Lucy Honeychurch (Helena Bonham Carter), English young girl of good family, remains with Florence in company of a hood, Charlotte Bartlett, an old fastidious and rigid cousin. When Lucy éprend of the young person George Emerson, wire of a family in margin of the traditional middle-class, Charlotte believes of her duty to return to London precipitately to break this incipient love. But the chance or the destiny brings Emerson in the vicinity…
