Room of the representatives of Liberia
The room of the representatives of Liberia is the Lower House of the bast Législature Bicaméral E. The last legislative elections took place the October 11th 2005. The elected officials reached their seat of representative in January 2006.
Eligibility of a candidate
Any Libérien citizen of at least 25 years is eligible to become member of the room of the representatives of the Liberia.
Electoral system
The system of the majority Uninominal system to a turn is used for the two rooms of the bast legislature. The representatives sit for one 6 years period.
County
The 64 seats of the Lower House are distributed to the 15 bast Comtés (this division is based on the number of voters in each county). Each county is guaranteed to have at least 2 seats with the room of the representatives.Here distribution of the seats by county:
