Ronald William Miller is the husband of Diane Marie Disney, girl of Walt Disney. It became one of the director of Walt Disney Productions in 1976 then managing director in 1982 at the side of Raymond Watson (chairman).

In 1984 the large shareholders of Disney which are Roy E. Disney and Stanley Gold it congédièrent in favor of Michael Eisner and Frank Wells in order to preserve the company of an attempt at tender offer on behalf of financial groups specialized in the sale in batches.
