Ron Wood (born on June 1st 1947 with Hillingdon, England -) is a Guitariste British Rock . It is in particular known as a member of the Rolling Stones since 1975-1976, when it replaces Mick Taylor.
Before joining Stones, Ron Wood began his career of guitarist with Birds in 1964. After having left the Yardbirds in 1966, Jeff Beck founds its group the Jeff Beck Group and engages Ron Wood as bass player, the group separates in 1969. The same year, Wood joined the group of Rod Stewart, The Small Faces. The group will change name thereafter to be called quite simply The Faces and knows a very great popularity in particular in England. It is during these years that Ron Wood will forge a very strong friendship with Keith Richards so that it is chosen by Stones in 1975 to replace Mick Taylor for the round of 1975-1976. This station was to be only provisional at the beginning but Wood is always with Stones today.
