Romanzov

The family Romanzov , in Russian Румянцевы , is old and famous family of the Russian nobility, which was illustrated with 18th and 19th century.

She claimed to go down from a Boyard which, disavowing its oath of allégence, delivered Nijni-Novgorod to the large-duke Vassili Ier of Moscow in 1391.

Its principal representatives are:

  • Alexandre Ivanovitch, count de Romanzov (1680-1749)
  • Pierre Alexandrovitch, count de Romanzov (1730-1796)
  • Nicolas Petrovitch, count de Romanzov (1750-1826)
