This masonry, in Pierre coquillère, inserted in the enclosing wall of the city of the XIV° century, belonged to the defensive system of Mount-with-Marsan, side Twelve.

Architecure

Its strengthened frontage is equipped with double a 90 cm thickness wall each one, distant of approximately 2 meters. Its defense system: a line of corbels on which a Corniche rests, dissimulating Mâchicoulis, bored Meurtrière S.

Other traces of medieval architecture remain downtown, in particular street of the Arches.
