Romance Jacques

Romance Jacques , (Jacques Fishmonger) , born on July 1st 1948 with Dieulefit, in France, is an actor, director, realizer and French writer, alive since many years with Lausanne in Suisse. He works for the theater and the Radio French-speaking Switzerland.

Career with the theater

Formed near the actors Samson Fainsilber and Tania Balachova, it begins in 1970 in groups from theaters with La Chaux-de-Fonds and Freiburg.

In 1981, he exploits in Victor or the children with the capacity of Roger Vitrac, a setting in scene of André Steiger with the Théâtre of Vidy in Lausanne. He will work then under the direction of Martine Paschoud, Herve Loichemol, Stuart Seide and Benno Besson.

In 1984, it carries out the setting in scene of monologs, then of 1989 to 1991, it takes part in the spectacles of Matthias Langhoff with the Theater of Vidy, in particular the Mission of Heiner Müller or Macbeth of Shakespeare.

From 1998 to 1999, at the Theater of Arsenic in Lausanne, it puts in reading several texts. It realizes in 1999 Tamerlan of Michel Deutsch, with François Marin.

In 2003, it takes part in the joint project of the cantonal and university Bibliothèque of Lausanne and of the Compagnie Sailor, aiming at emphasizing the contemporary literary creation of French-speaking Switzerland.

In 2006, he plays in the part the Box with Surprised of Jean-Frederic Schlicklin, with the Théâtre of Grütli then, in 2007, translated the Seven against Thèbes of Eschyle, for the same theater.

Literary work

Jacques Roman published many at the same time poetic and original collections, a radiophonic part, a spectacle of theater, the eyes full with the crime , and proses poetic, like Before the hour , the 208 in the central alley , General situation yesterday evening .
