Romain Baron
Romain Baron , born with Rémilly in 1898 and died in Nevers in 1985 is a writer, professor of letters and Historien French.
Biography
He follows his studies to Paris before leaving to the face for the First World War where he is gauze. He writes on this occasion his memories of soldier which will be published after its disappearance.He leaves then in the French colonial empire in Tunisia and with the Morocco towards 1920 or he is professor of letters and French during 22 years, during which he initiates with the Arab .
During its old days, it deals of the history and the Nevers-native files by the way of which it writes some tests.
Homage
In 1989, the town of Varzy and a delegation of the town of Nevers thus paid a commemorative homage to him by allotting its name to a street in each of the two cities qu´une commemorative plaque on the house where it was born in Rémilly in Nievre. It is buried with the cemetery of Corvol-in Embernard at the sides of his missing wife 2 years earlier than him.
