Rolf Bernhard
Rolf Bernhard (Frauenfeld, December 13rd 1949) is old a Swiss athlete , specialized in the Long jump.
Bernhard beat the record of Switzerland for the first time in 1971 with a jump of 7,66 m. During following years it beaten this record still several times. It exceeded the 8 m in 1975. It obtains its personal record of 8,14 m the 1981 with Ebensee. This Swiss record was beaten in 2003, that is to say 22 years later, by Julien Fivaz.
In 1974, it obtained the fifth place with the Championnats of Europe of Athletics and in 1981 he became champion of Europe indoor.
It was several times champion of Switzerland and was indicated sportsman of the year in 1975.
