Roland Trimen
Roland Trimen (Paddington, London, October 29th 1840 - July 25th 1916 with London) was a Entomologiste (specialist in the South-African lépidoptères) and Naturaliste British and South-African. He was preserving South-African Museum with the Cape of 1872 to 1895, succeeding this station with Edgar Leopold Layard (1825-1900).
Prize winner of the Medal Darwin in 1910.
His/her brother is the botanist Henry Trimen (1843-1896).
