Roland Nungesser

Roland Nungesser , Politician French, born the October 9th 1925 with Nogent-sur-Marne.

Biography

Senior officer. He is the nephew of the aviator Charles Nungesser disappeared with Coli in the Atlantic in 1927. Former student of the Faculty of Law of Paris, bachelor of law, it is graduate Private school of political sciences.

Old of RPF, he is appointed gaullist (UNR with the RPR) of 1958 to 1997. He was vice-president of the National Assembly of 1969 to 1974 then again of 1977 to 1978.

At the Parliament, it fought in favor of the law-program on sports equipment. It was one of the craftsmen of the law on protection of nature. It engaged in favor of a " Charter of the animal".

In April 2007, it is promoted Commandeur of the Légion of honor.

Governmental functions

It occupies the following ministerial functions in the governments of Georges Pompidou:
  • Secretary of State to the Housing from January 8th, 1966 to April 1st, 1967
  • Secretary of State to the Economy and Finances, in charge of the international businesses from April 6th to May 31st, 1968
  • Minister for the Youth and the Sports from May 31st to July 10th, 1968.

Other mandates

  • President of the Council of the district of Paris in 1963-1964.
  • Mayor of Nogent-sur-Marne of 1959 to 1995, date on which it is beaten.
  • President of the General advice of the the Valley-of-Marne of 1970 to 1976.

He was general also Commissaire of the international Nautical trade fair.
