Born the June 11th 1945 with the Cairo, he is the son of Charles Moreno, and Fernande Bahbout.

He attended the colleges Montaigne and Condorcet with Paris.

Professional path

The most universal applications were going a few years later to be the telephone Carte, the banking Credit card, the Vital card, but also the small chart SIM used in all the cellphones, the Navigo chart, while the chart of plastic money Moneo - meets a success more limited. The Innovatron company develops with the beginning of the year 1990 by the repurchase and/or integration of small firms specialized in the applications related to the smart card, such as Hello (founded it also by Roland Moreno, and creative of modems for the Macintosh computers), Logicam (which has a range of card readers: Minicam, TPSCam, PassCam, and later DigiCam), Mutacard, and, later, 5 Theses Industries. At that time, Roland Moreno creates RMT (Roland Moreno Technology, TMR with back, which Moreno did not notice immediately!) who is the department of research and development of Innovatron for the technical part of his projects, like several other branches of the group (Innovatron Systèmes Urban, Innovatron Télécommunications, Innovatron Computer security, Innovatron Ingéniérie, etc). A network of frankness (Innovatron Dated Systems) is born even in an attempt to create partnerships with companies abroad, and to thus promote the development of Innovatron technology. The Innovatron group, made up in EU, is then established with 137, boulevard de Sébastopol, in the 2nd district of Paris.

During several years, Innovatron saw developed projects (one can quote in particular the Piaf or individual parking meter with slit , made safe Modem S, the first prototypes of the step without contact (future Navigo chart) for the RATP and various applications related to the smart card), but especially of the important royalties (rights of license) poured by the companies exploiting the patents of Roland Moreno.

Roland Moreno publishes, in 1990, the Theory of the Ambient Brothel , together of reflections on the world which gives him paces of thinker to the eyes of the general public. Today, more than 15.000 employment at the new company (Gemalto) born from fusion between Axalto (ex-Schlumberger) - Gemplus in 2006.

Today, the Innovatron company, located at 1, rue Danton in Paris, has as an activity the sale of licenses related to the technology of the badges without contact, and Roland Moreno (fanatic of the computers Macintosh which acknowledged at the end of the Années 1990 to have taken a long time to be interested in the World Wide Web at the pretext that the addresses Web appeared as hermetic to him as the lines of order of MS-DOS or Unix) does not announce himself any more but seldom for submission to the media.
