Roland Giraud , born with Reduction (Morocco) the February 14th 1942, is an actor French. He is married with the actress Maaike Jansen.

He starts to take courses of theater in the Sixties. He enters the troop of Coluche in 1971 and it is at that time that he binds with the troop of the Splendid.

It obtains its first role with the cinema in 1974 thanks to Michel Audiard in Bons kisses… at Monday.

It acquires a notoriety growing with Papy made of resistance. Then, Three Men and a Baby, of Coline Serreau does of them one of the most popular actors of the Eighties.

It tragically lost his daughter Geraldine (then 36 years old) on November 1st 2004.
