Roland Dalbiez born in 1893 in Paris and died in Rennes in 1976 is a French, main philosopher of Paul Ricoeur which was the first to present the theses of the Psychanalyse of Sigmund Freud in France by a very complete study but now fallen into the lapse of memory.

After having made a beginning of military career in the navy, it turns to the Philosophie and will become professor in Rennes. He knows Jacques Maritain, Emmanuel Mounier and Maurice Merleau-Ponty.
