Rogue

Rogue , of the Persan Lashkar , was the name given to the XIXe century with the Matelot S Indians, in particular with those which were embarked on the French vessels sailing in the seas of the Indies Orientales. The term took since a pejorative direction.
Another etyomology:
- Lascar comes from the word lascarias which means “mercenary”
- Lascar comes from the Arab word El hascar which means “military”.
Posterity:
- On Internet, the term rogue désiqne the “Hacker” (the “snooper”): impassioned of data processing, the rogue tends to force the computing systems and to put himself in illegal position.
- This term is also the code of the flotilla 12F of the French Aéronavale.
