Rogers Hornsby (April 27th 1896 - January 5th 1963) was a Joueur of second goal in the major Ligues of Baseball to the the United States. It holds several records of the major Leagues.

Hornsby spent its first 10 seasons with Cardinals of Saint-Louis, during this time it gained twice the price for the Meilleur player of the major leagues in 1925 and 1929. It also led the league to the Moyenne with the stick six times of sharpened between 1920 with 1925. It also carried out the league in produced Points 4 times (1920, 1921, 1922 and 1925) and in Coups of circuit 2 times (1922 and 1925). In 1922 and 1925, it gained the triple crown - i.e. it led the National league to the average with the stick, blows of circuit and points produced.

After having gained the World Series in 1926 it left Cardinals to play with 4 different teams in 4 seasons, because of the arguments which it had with its fellow-members.
