Roger Murtaugh

Roger Murtaugh (born on December 15th, 1937) is a fictitious police officer interpreted by Danny Glover in the saga Lethal weapon . Its fellow-member is Martin Riggs (interpreted by Mel Gibson).

Career

After having made the War of Vietnam, it integrates the police force in 1967.
In the first shutter of the Lethal weapon , it inquires into the murder of the girl of one of her friends of Vietnam, one associates a new team-member, Martin Riggs to him (interpreted by Mel Gibson), old of the Vietnam detached of the suicidal Drug squad and head burned since the death of his wife. They sympathize and become friendly after some tensions. When his/her Rianne daughter is removed by criminals, it is helped by Riggs.
In the third shutter, it gives up taking its retirement.
