Roger Marie Vincent Philippe Lévêque de Vilmorin

Roger Marie Vincent Philippe Lévêque de Vilmorin is a horticulturist and a geneticist French, born the September 12th 1905 with Glass-the-Bush and dead the July 20th 1980 in this same city.

It directs the scientific services of the Vilmorin-Andrieux company of 1926 to 1964. He becomes member of the Académie of agriculture in 1946 and directs the institution in 1961. He is member of the botanical International committee of nomenclature of 1954 with 1972.
