Roger Jardelle (Rheims, the January 30th 1894 - Rheims, the June 8th 1959) is a politician of the town of Rheims

Biography

Born with Rheims, 165, avenue de Laon, in 1894, Roger Jardelle, then quantity surveyor-architect, became in 1929 architect-expert. It is elected city council man in 1929, and sat at the Town hall until May 1957, successively assistant with the mayor, first assistant and finally mayor of Rheims of the July 26th 1949 with the April 26th 1953. The June 15th 1944 it was stopped with several of his/her colleagues of the town hall, deportee to the camp of Neuengamme; it was repatriated the May 18th 1945.

He married in Rheims in 1920 Jeanne Marie Hermance Appelle, who presented herself to the municipal elections, in 1944, on the list of the radical party. He died, 48, rue Paul-Vaillant-Couturier, on June 8th, 1959 and rests with the Cimetière of North and its burial is flowered each year by the Town of Rheims, on August 30th, for the birthday of the Libération of Rheims.
