Roger Glover

Roger Glover (born the November 30th 1945 with Brecon with the Wales), is a Bassiste of Rock, known to be member of the group Deep Purple. His/her parents from there will be held a pub with London where frequently play of the groups of Rock. After 6 years of Piano, it puts at the acoustic Guitare then with the low Guitare.

Its first group is called the Madison which will form in 1963, after a fusion with the Lightnings , another gang of the same college that of Glover, will become Episode Six . The group becomes professional in May 1965 with the arrival of Ian Gillan. He saw passing in his center Mike Underwood (already seen with Ritchie Blackmore, the world is small!).

The June 7th 1969, Ian Gillan records with Deep Purple individual the Hallelujah (without the knowledge of Simper and Evans) and Roger Glover is convened like session man. One week, after it integrates Deep Purple. There will remain member of the group until in 1973. He is again member of the group to his reformation in 1984.

In 1974, it obtains its larger tube in solo with the title Love is all , song headlight of its album Butterfly Ball.

Roger Glover uses since already ten years the low ones of French manufacture Vigier. Its model signature, excess Roger Glover left recently in the trade.
