Roger Gilbert-Lecomte (born with Rheims on May 18th 1907, died with Paris on December 31st 1943) was a pillar of the review parasurrealist the Big game . Rene Daumal, the painter Joseph Sima, Roger Vailland, Robert Meyrat, Pierre Minet, and André Roland de Renéville took part all in the development of the review that it is systematically or temporary.

This idea finds its roots in the course of four young high-school pupils with Rheims, gathered under the name of the simplistic Phrères : Lecomte, Meyrat, Daumal and Vailland. Very young people, they raise the question of a point of meeting between the visible one and the invisible one, and try, through various means (Stupéfiant S, loss of the concept of space, of time, deprivation of sleep, and more precisely for Lecomte, excess in all and for all), to try out god .

Lecomte will leave only few writings, following until the end its process of Autodestruction to turn over “in the belly of the mother, to plunge in the abyss, and to turn over to the one, Absolu”. In its correspondences, a letter with his/her friend Rene Daumal, mark his will to continue until the end: " You, you are foutu poet! " he writes him.

Still today, a fringe of youth rémoise is claimed of him in various free reviews, own-produced, and which circulate only with hands in hands, reaffirming nevertheless its always long-lived importance in the city of the sacrings. Unfortunately, there remains an ignored author, just like some of its partners of the Big game. That is due partly to the pressures exerted on them by surrealist the André Breton when the latter refused to adhere to the Surréalisme, regarding this movement as a bureaucracy having given up its ideals. Chroniclers and writers, such Pierre Liquard still quote it in example and try to rehabilitate that which until the end remained faithful to its engagements.

It rests in Rheims, with the Cimetière of the East.
