Roger Bœufgras known as Roger Denux is a French writer born the February 6th 1899 with Montceau-the-Mines (Saône-et-Loire) and died in the same place the August 16th 1992.

Biography

Roger Bœufgras says Roger Denux is a Instituteur and man of letters (1899 - 1992) related to the world of the libertarian teachers of first half of the 20th century. Originating in Montceau-the-Mines (Saône-et-Loire), of sedentary temperament, Roger Bœufgras exerts the trade of schoolmaster to Cuzy (Saône-et-Loire) of 1923 with 1932, in the Morvan, before being named with Écuisses (Saône-et-Loire) (1932 - 1955), a village of 2000 inhabitants, where it resided during nearly sixty years. Its name was given to the public library Écuisses (2004).
