Roger Carel
Roger Carel , of his true name Roger Bancharel, born the August 14th 1927 with Paris, is an actor and lapping machine French.
Biography
Famous above all for its innumerable Doubling S, in particular of Cartoons, it is the French voice of Kermit the frog in the Muppet S, of Mister Magoo, Astérix, Benny Hill, Pierre and Maestro in the series of Albert Barillé as He was once… the Man , of C-3PO in Star Wars , of Winnie the bear cub, Alf etc
After a first vocation for the priesthood, it leaves the seminar and enters a school of engineer, sees that it gives up in his turn: he wants to make comedy. While taking lessons with the Course Simon, it starts with the theater, then done a little broadcast dramatic cinema and and the Cabaret. One then makes him carry out a first test of Postsynchronisation (doubling): it then lends its voice to Peter Lorre. Enough quickly, its amusing stamp and its talent to invent different voices will push it towards the cartoon, in particular at Disney (Winnie, Kaa in the Book of the jungle , Pongo in the 101 dalmatiens , Jiminy Cricket in Pinocchio , the cat of Cheshire in Alice with the Country of the Wonders , etc), but also Hanna Barbera, Warner, etc
He forever ceased working in the field of the postsynchronization but all the same continued to appear in many films. In certain series, it incarnates a great number of different characters, and its voice is, in fact, one of most famous of France.
He wrote an autobiographical book: “I acknowledge that I laughed well” (ISBN 2709604841), at Lattès. It seems that this book became untraceable.
