Roger Bastin , born with Couvin the August 13rd 1913, died with Namur the October 14th 1986, is a Belgian Architecte . If it particularly contributed to the current aspect of Namur, where it had its workshop (Pont of the Ardennes, buildings university, churches, villas restoration of the Arsenal of Namur), its fame extended in Belgium (Cyclotron of Leuwen-the-New, museum of Modern art of Brussels) and abroad (College interracial of Bujumbura, embassy of Belgium with Helsinki). He was member of the royal Académie of Belgium.

A monograph was devoted to him recently: Roger Bastin, architect, 1913-1986 , by Andre Lanotte, Jean-Marie Andre and Jacques Denis (Mardaga, Sprimont, 2001).
